My name is Joshua Retterer.
The title from the blog is from one of my favorite books, Dracula, by Bram Stoker. It is drawn from the phrase, “Now God be thanked that all has not been in vain!” I believe God can and does accomplish that in our lives. I’m counting on it. The line, “the life and times of a peculiar person,” is a reference to 1 Peter 2:9, King James Version. If you are a follower of Christ, you are going to be peculiar.
